China Trip Notebook explains the practical decisions that international travelers face when they plan China independently: how a route feels, where the friction sits and what deserves checking before a booking is locked.

What we publish

The notebook covers trip setup, transport, cities, food, cultural context and paced routes. Guides are written to solve one useful problem at a time. Chinese names are included where they help with navigation, but the prose stays in plain English.

What we do not pretend

We do not display invented reader numbers, paid rankings or anonymous testimonials. We do not sell tickets, hold traveler money or present changing rules as permanent. Time-sensitive details are marked for checking against current official information.

How the guides are shaped

Each entry combines local context with independent editorial judgment. The goal is not to create an exhaustive encyclopedia; it is to make a traveler’s next decision clearer and more realistic.
